You might be tempted to use the Google search engine to find a location, but a study published Tuesday by the University of California-Irvine’s Center for Advanced Geo Information (CAIG) suggests it’s not a great idea.
Google is the most searched term for locations in the U.S., but the study found that only 8% of searches that led to a location ended in one of those results.
Google’s data shows that it’s more common for searches to be a result of a person or location that has been in the news recently, like a recent arrest or a new restaurant opening.
The study suggests the search term for a place that has recently been visited could also lead to a result.
“The results from this study are consistent with previous studies that suggest that searching for location in the Google Search results is not always the best way to get the best information about a location,” the researchers write.
The research, which was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, also found that when people searched for places in their area, the search engine was the most popular.
The results for searches for a person’s home and business were more popular than searches for places, but only about 40% of search results for places ended in a result, according to the study.
The study also found people were more likely to search for a location that they have been to before, but it wasn’t as common as when they were searching for a business or a home.
The researchers also found some interesting patterns.
For example, people searched more for places they knew the people lived in than searches they were looking for locations outside their area.
The researchers also noted that searches that did not lead to places ended up with the most interesting results.
For example, searches that only had one location in them were most likely to lead to the most useful information about that location, with the people’s name, phone number, address and email address as the most common, the study notes.
People who were searching in an area that was popular for the first time, such as the New York metro area, were more than twice as likely as searches for locations that were popular for a longer time to end up with a result that was relevant to the search.
This was the case for people who were looking to find their favorite restaurant.
“Searching for locations from your past experiences may not always be the best use of Google search,” the authors write.
“If you search for locations and locations don’t appear in Google search results, you might want to check to see if you may have inadvertently visited an old location.
This can help you locate a new location that is more likely.”
